I am a granddaughter of a Vietnam Vet. Lewis S McClintic is his name. He was stationed in 1969 in "C" Troop 2/17 Air Cav. 101st Airborne Div Aero Scout Platoon. His Hughes (i think thats the correct name) OH-6A tail number 67-16226 crashed outside LZ Sally, Northern 1 Corp, Vietnam. The helicopter crashed on December 27, 1969. The pilot who was a LT we do not know what happened to him. The pilot was not one of the regulars, he was new to the area my grandfather says. The other solder died SP/5 Tommy Marks around 21 of age africa american. If you can help me or lead me in any direction to find out what happened to the pilot that would be great and help my grandfather big time.
