To the management of Army Air Crews, I thought this website was not to defamed antibody's name. In regards to the posting done Oct. 11th, 2007. made by Kari Cowan. It is an insult and defamation of my son Dion J. Burmaz. Since Kari Cowan got all the facts fixed in her head the way she wants to believe them. The truth is that the result of the Army's investigation states that the accident was a "Human Error" BOTH Capt. Burmaz and CW3 Aaron Cowan failed to announce that they were "Inside the cockpit" I would appreciate if you deleted her construed comments from your website. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. PBurmaz

It is unfortunate but true that I possess the negligence finding that Dion Burmaz failed to properly confirm the three way transfer of controls. Anyone who wants to see it feel free to contact me and I will gladly publish it. veritasklc@knology.net veritas=truth
My son does not have his father on father's day because of this - I forgave Dion - it is not to defame him - it is just the truth.
Interesting I found this post today - Aaron's 17 year old son is at a flight academy and just so happens there is an issue with the language of the three way transfer they are using. Since that is what caused this accident it is an ever present part of our lives and always will be. The reason for the post I made was so Aaron would not be defamed because there was so much misinformation out there about what happened. It was a simple miscommunication in which Burmaz mistook Aaron's communication with another aircraft to have been with him despite the language not being consistent with a transfer. End of story. done and they were gone. Learn from it. That is the point.
