I am attempting to locate details of a training accident that occurred at Fort Rucker on 9 July 1974. Killed on board were the Instructor Pilot and my classmate, Lt. John E. Onuschak, a 1972 graduate of the Citadel. It is my understanding that this was the final flight prior to graduation, so I am guessing the aircraft type was a UH-1 and the mission was tactics. Any details will be helpful.

I have the crash records at my parent's home (visiting them now), and would enjoy hearing from you. I was surprised to hear that the pilot was also killed...I thought it was "only" my brother. My contact information is: scallop123@aol.com. My father is sitting here...informing me that Bruce "Killian", pilot, survived the crash, however, losing one leg. If you care to speak, I welcome that also: 703-862-2818. ~Mary Ann O. Giandoni~ Did you know Tom Bethea...he was my brother's roommate ! He still is in contact with my parents.
