Hi, My name is Dave Fesmire. Was with the 271st ASHC at Can Tho Airfield from Jan to Sept of 1971. First in maintenance, then to Flight platoon as OJT gunner, then to CE. We found Alan Kinsman dead in his bed that morning. You know how rumors go so I won't say anything and we were never given an "official cause". Also, the pocket patch needs to be rotated to the right. It was worn in the diamond shape, not squared. Thanks, Dave DarkhorseRVN@mchsi.com

Hi Dave!
I came to the 271st in Sept 70 to Sept 71. I do remember you. I was a crew chief on Patches and Blood Sweat and Tears. Maj. Hammands told me I was the youngest crew chief in country at that time (19) and he held me back on the bombing mission of VC Island. I flew with Mr. Cessna and Rick Jackson. Good memories!
Take care, my Brother
Gus
