I am looking for information from Fort Rucker or any Army Aviator. He was an instructor ? at Fort Rucker (Captain I believe) in the late 50's/early 60's. His nickname was "Cookie". He was from Dallas and flew fixed and rotary. He was stationed in DC working on the first Helicopter Aircraft Carrier in Corpus (?) in the mid 60's before he passed.
His wife's name was Virginia (Ginny) and she is also buried with him. They had 4 children, Carroll III, Susan, Stephen and Scott. He passed away at Walter Reed from Leukemia in 1968 at age 40.
