I am requesting any information concerning CW2 Stephen Cornick that died on 15 June 1989 in Panama. A/C crashed near the Trans-Isthmian highway in the vicinity of the Madden Dam water plant while escorting a convoy near Panama Canal. Any information concerning surviving family would be most helpful.

In 1989 I read of CW Stephen Cornick's death in the San Jose Mercury News, San Jose, CA. I recall that his family resided in the Santa Cruz area. (That's on the Pacific Coast.)
There was quite a bit of information in the story. You may be able to access it through the newspapers website.
I am Stephen Roe Cornick, Captain, USAF (Retired)

Stephen Cornick, I've been doing some genealogical research. Did you have siblings Garry and Martha? Were your parents Garry Sr and Martha Sophia Roe? If so, please e-mail me! ccfw@msn.com You are probably a cousin of mine.
