Great site. Looking for my old aircraft when I was with Bco 2-1 Avn 1989-1993. AH-64A 8700477. Flew this rig during Desert Storm. Converted to D model? Appreciate any info you can throw my way. Al

Aircraft 8700477 today is AH-64D 04-05479. Does anyone have more info on the history as a D-model? It was in Mesa during Mar06 and since Oct07 seen flying with 3-3 AVN. I'm curious where it served in the meantime. Thanks!

I'm currently an MTP assigned to P Troop 4/3 ACR and this was one of my Troop's aircraft from the time it came out a D model until Sep 2007. We turned it over to 3/3 along with 2 other aircraft in return for 3 MTADS aircraft from the factory in Mesa.

Thanks. Do you also have info on the other two aircraft which were turned over to 3-3 and the new ones? You can contact me in private if you want (edwin@ah-64.net).
