The Huey crash in Korea in 1975 was from one of the aviation lift companys of the 2nd Avn Bn, 2nd ID, stationed at Camp Casey. The pilot who was killed was CPT Pat Cravens. He was a flight school classmate who was known, ironically as, "Crash" Cravens.

Ooops....the old age bug has bit again. The crash I was referring to was in 1976, not 1975. All the other details are still correct. It was the lead aircraft in a flight of 5.

Thanks for the info. Is the accident one that is not listed? Is it not the one for 05 MAR 75?

The info I provided was on an accident in 1976 in Korea. I initially thought it was the 1975 accident because it was a wire strike accident also. It was not the 5 Mar 75 accident already identified. I doubled checked all your listings and didn't see the 1976 crash listed anywhere. Sorry about the mistake.
