i just wanted to thank everyone. it was my company that had the blackhawk crash on jan 20th 2007. i just happened to stumble across this site completely by accident. im going to send a link to everyone in my company, and again i just want to thank this site and everyone involved.

Hi Nathan,
My brother CW4 Keith Yoakum had wrote to me in one of his last emails that he arrived on scene right after the UH-60 went down. He said he was able to "find some bad guy stuff and engage it but unfortunattley it didn't help the guys shot down other than secure the site for recovery". Keith was himself killed 2 February 2007 when his Apache was shot down. i know he really cared about protecting the ground guys as well as the other aircrews.
